slow with posting

It was nice to receive Christmas cards with notes saying how much you liked catching up with us through our blog. I am sorry I have been so slow with posting. If you must know, I am slow to post because I am still reading the manual to my new camera! Blogging just words doesn't really happen too much with me, not much time to sit still and formulate cognitive thoughts. And because we have children who change daily, I love to post their pics and what we have been doing lately.
Stephen completely surprised me with a Canon Rebel for Christmas. I love it and take so many pics, now I just have to get to loading the pics onto the computer.
I promise it will be soon, the camera really captures amazing photos of the kids.

Jackson hit the 6 month milestone yesterday. He is 17 lbs, and 28 inches long. He loves his fruits and veggies, loves to smile, loves his thumb. The pediatrician said "He looks perfect" and I just had to agree:)

Charlie is an eating machine. We are so in for it when he is a teenager.

This morning he had two bowls of cereal before taking Avery to school. While dropping Avery off at school, he was talking about what he wanted to eat next.
We arrived home and he ate a pancake and a bowl full of mandarin orange slices. He then had a breakfast bar. Then Daddy came home with Krispy Kremes and he had one of those.

We picked Avery up from school and when we walked in the house, he asked, "What are we having for lunch mommy?"

So he had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, grapes and pretzals.

I guess I should start preparing dinner, I am sure he'll want it as soon as he wakes up from his nap.

This must be his second growth spurt in the last few months, b/c just the other morning we noticed all of his pants were only reaching his ankles!
